A Cleveland man remained in the Hall County Jail without bond on Tuesday, Jan. 26, following his recent arrest by Hall County Sheriff’s deputies on charges of aggravated sexual battery and child molestation.
Deputies took Charles Daniel Gee, 29, into custody on Friday afternoon, Jan. 22, at sheriff’s office headquarters. Investigators obtained warrants in the case on the same day.
According to the initial investigation, Gee committed the crimes against the female child between August 21 and August 22, 2020, at a residence in the 3000 block of Ga. 369/Browns Bridge Road. Gee knew the victim before the incident, investigators say.
Deputies first learned of the crime on Dec. 17, 2020, when an adult family member reported it following the victim’s disclosure of the incident to the family member.
The case remains under investigation, according to Hall County authorities.
