(Cleveland)- A White County home was damaged by fire Sunday.
Ana Newberry, White County Fire Department spokeswoman said the residential fire was reported at 10:45 AM. Stations 6, 2, and 5 from White County Fire Services with Automatic Aid from the City of Cleveland, responded to a blaze on Mount Pleasant Church Road.
According to Newberry, first arriving units confirmed that flames were visible on the front portion of the home with all occupants out of the home. Firefighters quickly set up and extinguished the fire which was contained to the one room.
The occupants advised fire personnel that there was one dog still in the house and a firefighter entered the home and brought the dog out to safety. Newberry said, fire personnel checked the area for hot spots and extensions; none were found.
The electrical power was shutoff to the residence by Habersham Electric Membership Corporation and the occupants were advised to have an electrician inspect the residence before turning the power back on.
The Red Cross was contacted to assist three adults and four animals.
No injuries were reported.
