White County High School student charged with making terroristic threats

Christian Gholston

A White County High School student was arrested last week and charged with terroristic threats and acts.

According to a White County Sheriff’s Department incident report dated November 14, 18-year-old Christian Gholston was arrested by a White County School Resource Officer (SRO).

The report states that a White County High School assistant principal contacted SRO Alicia Hopper in reference to a student making threats to a teacher.

Gholston, according to the report, said he would shoot teachers and others at the school. One of the teachers told Officer Hopper that she was concerned for her safety because of the statement he had made.

Deputy Hopper arrested Gholston and he was transported to the White County Detention Center without incident. A warrant was obtained and served on Gholston.
