White County Commissioners to hold teleconference

White County officials are now restricting public access to all county facilities.

Government offices will remain closed to the general public for at least two weeks through Friday, April 3. The closures are the latest in White County’s efforts to limit exposure and prevent the possible spread of COVID-19.

The senior center, libraries, and parks and recreation buildings were closed last week.

White County employees will continue to conduct business during normal work hours over the phone and internet, by email and regular mail, a press release from the county states.

Teleconference scheduled March 24

The White County Commission has canceled its work session and called meeting on March 30 and will instead hold a called teleconference on March 24.

The public is invited to join the teleconference. It begins at 9 a.m. Tuesday. To connect to the meeting, dial 1 (872) 240-3412 and enter access code 276-449-349
