(Cleveland)- The White County Chamber of Commerce & Welcome Center has a warning for business owners, beware of telephone solicitation calls from companies claiming to be working with the Chamber and the White County Office Sheriff’s Office.
Cindy Bailey White County Chamber President said in a news release, beginning the week of May 22, a company that goes by many different names started contacting local businesses to sell an area map and calendar items. They claim to have an agreement with a former interim president of the Chamber and with a current staff member of the Sheriff’s Office.
Bailey said, neither the Chamber nor the Sheriff’s Office is working with this company.
A few of the names that the company goes by are: Premier Print Company, Hometown Productions, D & L Map Service, Fanfare Sports, Premier Impressions, Scoreboard Productions, Premier Map Company, Totes To Go, Universal AdCom, L.L.C., UAC Collections, RadioPromos, Radio Promos, Mr. Event Guru, Event Guru.
