As is usual, the White County cross country teams are heading to the state meet after a solid Saturday outing that saw both the boys and girls teams finish third in Region 7-AAAA.
GIRLS
The Lady Warriors finished third behind Marist and Blessed Trinity. Leading the way was Jaelen Alexander, who came in 13th with a 20:13 time. Ellie Gearing and Addie Bolton came in 17th and 18 to ensure the girls team made the state cut.
BOYS
The Warriors also finished third overall, behind Marist and Blessed Trinity. Eammon O’Bryant had a 16:46 time to come in eighth place. Jovani Gonzalez came in 12th and Noah Rapert 18th.
