CLEVELAND – White County Government has activated a new and improved website. A news release from Interim County Manager Shanda Murphy says this website redesign is aimed at providing citizens with better access to information across all county departments.
The website address is www.whitecountyga.gov. Murphy said citizens will notice readily available news and announcements, as well as a full calendar of county-related events, an area to easily submit public records requests, and a full listing of county job opportunities – in addition to updated, functional departmental pages for each elected official and county departments.
“We appreciate the Board of Commissioners’ vision and support with this project and County IT Director, Joel Witcher’s, leadership on the project,” says Murphy.
She says White County elected officials, department managers, and staff worked hard to develop the website, adding they look forward to “maintaining and expanding the use of this tool for the public’s benefit.”
