Brian Emsley has been named West Hall High School’s new head girls soccer coach for the 2022-23 season.
Emsley has 15 years of coaching experience at various levels. From 2006 to 2013 he coached the Girls JV, Boys JV, and Girls Varsity teams at South Gwinnett High School. In 2013, he coached the St. Pius X Catholic School JV Boys and assisted the varsity team when they won the state championship that season. He returned to South Gwinnett High School in 2014 to lead the Boys Varsity program to the State Playoffs. For the past four years, he has been the Varsity Girls coach at Berkmar High School.
“We are excited to have Coach Emsley join Sparta!” said WHHS Athletic Director David Wagner. “He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our girls’ soccer program.”
