Northeast Georgia Health System announces the arrival of three New Year’s babies at its hospital campuses in Hall County, Braselton, and Habersham.

Stetson Michael Lingerfelt was the first to arrive in 2025. He was born at 12:32 a.m. on Jan. 1 and was the first baby delivered in Hall County this year at NGMC Gainesville.

Weighing 6 pounds 14 ounces, his proud parents, Kayla Hamrick and Shawn Lingerfelt, are looking forward to many more firsts for little Stetson!

NGMC Braselton’s New Year’s baby

Westley Greenewald arrived at 2:00 a.m., becoming North Georgia Medical Center Braselton’s first baby of the year.

Kayla and Stephen Greenewald welcomed their precious son, Westley Greenewald, at 2:00 a.m. on January 1, 2025, becoming North Georgia Medical Center Braselton’s first baby of the year.

Weighing 7 pounds and 11 ounces, Westley’s already making his parents beam with pride.
