Northeast Georgia Health System announces the arrival of three New Year’s babies at its hospital campuses in Hall County, Braselton, and Habersham.
Stetson Michael Lingerfelt was the first to arrive in 2025. He was born at 12:32 a.m. on Jan. 1 and was the first baby delivered in Hall County this year at NGMC Gainesville.
Weighing 6 pounds 14 ounces, his proud parents, Kayla Hamrick and Shawn Lingerfelt, are looking forward to many more firsts for little Stetson!
NGMC Braselton’s New Year’s baby
Kayla and Stephen Greenewald welcomed their precious son, Westley Greenewald, at 2:00 a.m. on January 1, 2025, becoming North Georgia Medical Center Braselton’s first baby of the year.
Weighing 7 pounds and 11 ounces, Westley’s already making his parents beam with pride.

NGMC Habersham’s New Year’s baby
Arriving at 5:26 a.m., NGMC Habersham’s first baby is Walker James. This little one weighed 6 lb 9 oz. His parents are Anna and Nathan Crump. You are a wonderful addition to our world sweet Walker!
Now Habersham sends a huge shout-out to these little ones and their families who arrived in ’25. May this be the first of many exciting firsts in their lives!
