Website provides construction updates on new White County Fire Station 9

CLEVELAND, Ga. — White County Public Safety has launched a new webpage to keep residents informed about the construction of Fire Station 9 in the Mount Yonah community.

The site offers project updates, milestone reports, photo galleries, and answers to frequently asked questions, giving the public a transparent look at the county’s latest public safety investment.

Fire Station 9 is being built on Sonnys Circle off Duncan Bridge Road. Once complete, the new facility will expand fire protection and improve response times in a part of the county experiencing steady residential growth and a rise in tourism.

Construction officially began in September 2025 under the management of Precision United of Cleveland, Georgia. The project is expected to be completed by the summer of 2026.
