(CLEVELAND) — White County Warriors started out strong but could not hold a 14-point lead Friday night, as Stephens County fought back in the second half to take a 21-20 win at Warrior Stadium.
Clancey Loudermilk scored all three touchdowns for White County, including a 64-yard punt return for in the second quarter to help the Warriors build a 14-0 halftime lead. But Stephens County got things going, adding 6 points in the third quarter and then tying it up 14-14 in the fourth quarter. White County got the lead back when Loudermilk ran an 85 yard kickoff return to making the score 20-14. AJ Howard then scored a touchdown for Stephens County tying the game again 20-20. The extra point was good and Stephens held on for the 21-20 win.
Clancy Loudermilk was selected by the Warrior broadcast team as the Captain D’s offensive player of the game and T J Ballard the defensive player.
