Gradual warmup into November

Another dry week is in store across North Georgia after many of us got some beneficial light rain on Saturday and Sunday.

A “backdoor,” or wedge, front brought a very chilly day on Sunday, but it will begin to moderate and retreat as we head through the first half of the week. Skies will remain partly to mostly cloudy Monday through Wednesday as temperatures gradually rise.

Thursday, Halloween Day, looks absolutely perfect for trick-or-treating, with highs in the low/mid-70s. Temperatures during the evening will fall back into the 60s but remain pleasant through 9-10 p.m., prime trick-or-treat times.

Sunshine will continue through Friday and into next weekend, with highs returning well into the 70s.

Have a great week!
