View ballot in Habersham’s Democratic runoff

Habersham County voters who are eligible to vote in the upcoming June 21 runoff may now review the ballot before heading to the polls.

County election supervisor, Laurel Ellison, released a sample ballot on Saturday, ahead of the start of early voting on Monday, June 13.

There are four races on the ballot, all statewide, to determine the Democratic party’s nominees for lieutenant governor, secretary of state, commissioner of insurance, and commissioner of labor.

Anyone who voted Democratic, Nonpartisan, or who didn’t vote at all in the May 24 general primary is eligible to vote in the June 21 runoff as long as they were registered to vote by April 25, 2022.

Voters may also cast ballots ahead of the runoff between the hours of 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. the week of June 13-17. All early/advance voting in Habersham County will take place at the Ruby Fulbright Aquatic Center in Clarkesville. There will be no early/advance voting at the Habersham South Precinct and no Saturday voting.

The runoff election will be held Tuesday, June 21. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
