Vienna “Punk” Wiley Masters, age 91, of Alto, Georgia went to be with The Lord on Thursday, November 16, 2017.
Mrs. Masters was born on March 24, 1926 in Lula, Georgia to the late Frank and Nellie Davidson Wiley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Vernon “Zeke” Masters; and four sisters and one brother. Mrs. Masters was retired from Duckhead with 50 years of loyal and dedicated service.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Gwen and James Canup, of Alto; sisters, Merle Freeman, of Oakwood; Mollie Helton, of Cleveland; grandchild and spouse, James Gregory “Greg” Canup and Sharon; great-grandchildren, Katrina Whitfield, Tiffany Brown, and Kimberly Hain; great-great grandchildren, Patience Brown, Damian Brown, Addie Kimbrel, Dawson Ansely, Dane Culver and Dream Hain.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, November 18, 2017 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel with Rev. Bobby Griffin officiating. Interment will follow in the Yonah Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, November 17, 2017 at the funeral home.
