Hear straight from the candidates as they talk about their qualifications and views and field questions from voters
Early voting is now underway in Georgia for the May 24th Primary Election. Habersham County voters will cast ballots in a number of contested races including those for Board of Education District 1, Chief Magistrate, Clerk of Superior Court, County Commission District 1, County Commission District 5, District Attorney, Probate Judge, Sheriff, State Court Judge, 50th District State Senate and 9th District U.S. House of Representatives.
There are more than two dozen candidates vying for these positions. The crowded field makes it difficult for voters to stay on top of who’s who and what the candidates stand for. To help, Now Habersham is pleased to present this year’s 2016 Political Forum, in its entirety.
The forum was held on April 26, 2016 at the Clegg Auditorium on the North Georgia Technical College Campus in Clarkesville. It was sponsored by the Habersham County Farm Bureau and Chamber of Commerce.
Still want to learn more about the candidates? Now Habersham will post the first in a series of exclusive videotaped candidate profiles beginning the week of May 9th.
