(Cleveland) – Verizon customers in the Northwestern part of White County should see an improvement in cellphone service soon. Monday night, the White County Board of Commissioners approved a land-use application filed by Verizon Wireless for a conditional use permit to construct a new tower at 99 R & R Drive off Paradise Valley Road near Town Creek Road.
Verizon spokeswoman Kiersten Lurer said they plan to install a unipole type antenna that will enhance the company’s service.
The company must still complete the application process for the actual tower construction.
