One person was injured in a single-car accident on GA 365 near Cornelia on Saturday afternoon. The accident occurred around 2:16 p.m., according to Habersham County E-911 dispatchers.
The southbound vehicle veered off the roadway, narrowly missing a sign, and struck an embankment in a ditch on the southbound shoulder of the highway. Habersham County Emergency Services transported the driver to Northeast Georgia Medical Center Habersham.

The Habersham County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the accident. No further details are currently available.
