Georgia Power has canceled its plans to close down a portion of BC Grant Road tomorrow for utility work due to the rain.
Crews were scheduled to change out transmission poles.
The work was to have impacted thru traffic between Level Grove Road and J. Warren Road most of the day Tuesday. The work and road closing are expected to be rescheduled at a later date.
