United Community Bank in Habersham promotes Sheila Ramsey, Kim Reed

CORNELIA – Tim Ash, President of Habersham County for United Community Bank, is pleased to announce the promotion of two Habersham County natives. Sheila Ramsey has been promoted to Vice President/Branch Manager in Clarkesville and Kimberly Reed has been named Vice President, strengthening the leadership of the bank in the region.

“Sheila and Kim are instrumental to our team and to the success of United in our community,” said Tim Ash. “They work hard and are dedicated to our clients and their teammates. These promotions are very well-deserved. I cannot thank them enough for all that they do.”

Sheila Ramsey has been a part of the United Community Bank team since 1999. She most recently served as a Senior Loan Assistant but will now focus on overseeing operations for the bank’s Clarkesville location as Branch Manager. Ramsey attends Hill’s Crossing Baptist Church in Clarkesville.

Kimberly Reed joined United Community Bank in 2011. As Branch Manager in Cornelia, she focuses on client relationships and operations for the bank in her community. Reed is a member of the Cornelia Tourism & Hospitality Board and SOAR Professional Women’s Group. She has served for many years as an Ambassador for the Habersham County Chamber of Commerce. She is also a 2015 graduate of Leadership Habersham.
