Habersham Central’s Taylor Acker is the BLITZ soccer Player of the Week. Acker won the Fan Vote to clinch the honor. She received 1,590 votes out of the total 3,545 that were cast.
The junior midfielder/forward has been pivotal to the success of the Habersham Central Lady Raiders (3-5; 3-1 in region play). In the past three games for Hab, she notched a pair of goals and 4 assists in total. Two of her helpers were game-winning assists in region victories. This is Acker’s first Player of the Week award and she’s the first Habersham girls soccer player to earn it since Lindsey Lewallen & Kindra Purdy shared the honors in the 2017 season.
BLITZ also picked Union’s Madison Yost as Player of the Week.
