(Cleveland)- Two people were stranded on top of their car for a short time Monday after their vehicle ran off the road and crashed into a creek off Sandy Flats Road in White County.
Emergency personnel responded around 2 p.m. and utilized a rescue raft to retrieve the victims.
The driver is said to have lost control of the vehicle when he left the paved section of the road and traveled on loose gravel.
According to reports, the vehicle left the roadway and flipped over a couple of times before coming to rest in the creek, in water deep enough to force the man and woman to get out on top of the vehicle.
Both victims were checked out by medical personnel but were not transported to the hospital.
