A Cleveland, Tennessee woman was transported by ambulance to the hospital Sunday following a two car crash on GA 15/US 441 at Antioch Church Road. 49-year-old Hilda Ramos was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center after being extricated from her car by emergency crews.

Georgia State Patrol Trooper First Class Aaron Church says Ramos was traveling west on Antioch Church Road and had come to a stop at its intersection with GA 15 Northbound. She then traveled into the center cross over and came to another stop. Ramos then attempted to cross over GA 15 Southbound and ran into the path of a 2007 Honda Accord.

TFC Church says the driver of the Honda, 35-year-old Rebecca Stovall, attempted to avoid the Echo by moving into the right lane. The front of the Honda struck the Echo’s right side passenger door. Both vehicles came to rest in a wooded area down an embankment.

Both cars had to be pulled from the woods after running down an embankment.

Stovall and her passenger, 39-year-old Duston Dolatowski of Atlanta, walked away from the crash. They were not transported to the hospital.

Church says charges are pending.
