Demorest, GA – The Piedmont College softball team will not play its Tuesday doubleheader with Elmira College due to weather expected to come into the North Georgia area. Wednesday’s JV doubleheader at Georgia Military College is also cancelled due to weather.
Head Coach Terry Martin did announce an addition to the 2015 schedule as former conference foe Salem College will come to Demorest on Saturday, March 21 for a doubleheader at Walker Athletic Complex set to start at 2:00 pm. The Lady Lions have lost 12 games in the recent weeks due to winter weather that rolled through the South.
