According to a school news release the new restaurant is in addition to the university’s  current dining hall, now known as Carol Anne’s Café  and The Daily, to  broaden the options for the campus community and create new venues to dine, socialize and study.

The Georgia Public House will be located in the new Student Wellness Center (SWC), a 69,000-  sq. ft. facility, which features a student commons area, racquet-ball courts, leisure pool,  gymnasium, fitness center and staff offices. The majority of ingredients to be used will be Georgia grown with a focus on produce from within a 50-mile radius of TMU. MMI Dining Systems, who manages all eating establishments on campus, will oversee the new restaurant and staffing.

The public is invited to take a tour of The Georgia Public House, along with the state-of- the-art Student Wellness Center, during the Grand Opening celebration at 10:00 a.m. on August 19th.
