Train catches fire in Commerce, shuts down SK Boulevard

COMMERCE, Ga. — Firefighters and police officers in Commerce were called to the scene of a train fire near the intersection of SK Boulevard and Maysville Road.

The fire broke out Thursday evening, prompting an immediate response from the Commerce Fire Department and the Commerce Police Department. Authorities shut down SK Boulevard while crews work to contain the blaze.

Officials have not said what caused the fire or if anyone was injured.
