(Cleveland)- Tractor Supply Company (TSC) a large retail chain of stores that offers products for home improvement, agriculture, lawn and garden maintenance, and livestock, equine and pet care has announced they will locate in Cleveland this spring.
Founded as a mail order tractor parts business in 1938, TSC is headquartered in Brentwood, Tennessee. The company operates 1,465 stores in 49 states, and operated an online store
Rob Hoskins spokesman for Tractor Supply Company, said in an email, as a growth minded company, Tractor Supply Company is always looking for potential new store locations, that are a good fit as far as the target market is concerned.
The company will be locating in the vacant Piggly Wiggly building, in the Village Plaza, on South Main Street. The location will have approximately 27,400 square feet and employ between 12-17 full and part-time team members, said Hopkins.
Hopkins advised a soft opening is tentatively set for April 16th with a grand opening slated for April 23rd.
Concerning the location in Cleveland Hoskins said, this is especially true in that the area was attractive due to the part-time and hobby farmers, and horse owners in the area. He further stated, Tractor Supply Company is excited about being a new member of the Cleveland business community.
