Towns County Woman Sought on Drug Charges

Authorities are searching for a Towns County woman wanted on drug charges following a search of her home at 1430 Overlook Trail.

Special Agent in Charge of the Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office (ARDEO) Mitchell Posey says the Towns County Sheriff’s Office and ARDEO agents executed a search warrant Thursday at the residence of 39-year old Rebecca Diane Davis. He says authorities found approximately 7 grams of methamphetamine, 1 ounce of marijuana and a stolen Ruger .357 revolver during the search.

The street value of the illegal narcotics is $800. The hand gun was stolen from Clay County, North Carolina.  39-year old Nathan Christopher Rose was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute.

Rose was transported to the Towns County Detention Center.

Posey says Davis has yet to be apprehended. She’s wanted for possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute, possession of marijuana, and possession of stolen property.
