The Habersham County Commission will hold a Town Hall meeting tonight to discuss potential locations of a new Administration Building.
At the September Habersham County Commission Meeting, the Commissioners voted to exclude three options that were under consideration – renovating the existing administration building (old courthouse), tearing down the existing administration building and building back on the property or building on the old GDOT property on the Toccoa Highway.
The two remaining options still under consideration are the Jacob’s Way Property beside the Aquatic Center on the Toccoa Highway and the excess land at the new courthouse site on Llewellyn Street in Clarkesville.
Tonight’s meeting begins at 5:30pm at the Habersham County Senior Center located at 217 Scoggins Drive NE, Demorest, GA 30535 off of Demorest-Mt. Airy Hwy.
