Coaches middle school athletes to win off the court
Kianna Holland, current Ohio State University Women’s basketball player, spoke to several Habersham County basketball players at South Habersham Middle School.
Holland was ranked #22 player in America and #4 ranked guard in America coming out of high school.
She was a two-time USA Basketball invitee, and a McDonald’s All-American nominee and was offered over 60 Division-1 scholarships leaving high school.
Holland spoke little about her accomplishments but much about her faith in God, the importance of hard work and dedication, and positive leadership skills. She reminded the group about the importance of academics and good decision-making.
