Coco. War For the Planet of the Apes. Mother! These were three films that just missed my 10 best list by the skin of their teeth. On the other hand, movies such as A Dog’s Purpose, The Great Wall, and Valerian were just fortunate enough to dodge the bullet of landing on my 10 worst list.
Yes, Ladies and Gentlemen, it’s that time of year again. Once again, Hollywood unloaded everything they could at the screen for us to either enjoy or endure: Blockbusters, Oscar hopefuls, and everything else in between. I saw a total 56 movies in 2017 and 20 of those films stayed with me either in good or bad way. Plus, like I do every year, I have included my pick for runner-up on both lists.
Without further ado, here’s my lists for the 10 best and worst movies of 2017!
