
The Tim Lee Boys & Girls Club in Mt. Airy, is set to unveil its brand-new playground with a special ribbon cutting ceremony on Monday, May 19, 2025. The event will take place from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the club’s location: 2664 Georgia Highway 197, Mt. Airy.
Adding to the excitement, the Atlanta Braves’ beloved mascot, Blooper, will be making a special appearance, bringing fun and energy to the celebration. Families, community members, and supporters are invited to join the festivities, which will include the official ribbon cutting, opportunities to explore the new playground, and meet-and-greet sessions with Blooper.
The new playground is part of the Tim Lee Club’s ongoing commitment to providing a safe and engaging environment for youth in Habersham County.
