Final preparations are underway for this year’s Friends of the Clarkesville Library Book and Author Luncheon fundraiser. The featured guest speaker is Lindsey P. Brackett.
Brackett, a wife and mother of four, writes blogs, columns, articles and stories. Her debut novel Still Waters, a Lowcountry story about the power of family and forgiveness, was released in 2017. Called “a brilliant debut” with “exquisite writing”, Still Waters also received 4-stars from Romantic Times.
When she’s not writing, you’re likely to find Brackett at the library, a state park with her kids, or directing a show at the Habersham Community Theater.
The Book and Author Luncheon is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 28, in the fellowship hall at Clarkesville First United Methodist Church.
Tickets are on sale now through April 20th. The cost is $20. Tickets are available at the Clarkesville Library located at 178 East Green Street in Clarkesville.
Founded in 1992, Friends of the Clarkesville Library is a not for profit 501(c)3. The organization supports the local library through advocacy, fundraising, and programming initiatives.
