CLEVELAND – An early morning fire Thursday at Zaxby’s on South Main Street in Cleveland will keep the business closed for a while.
Cleveland Fire Chief Ricky Pruitt said they received a fire alarm call around 1:30 a.m. Pruitt said upon arrival they found smoke coming from the building.
Firefighters made entry into the building and discovered a small fire in a cooker/wall area. They extinguished the fire and checked for hot spots and located heat in another wall.
The business is expected to be closed while they do cleanup and get an electrician to check things out.
