
ATHENS — Three teenagers were shot and injured early Sunday morning during a disturbance in downtown Athens, Athens-Clarke County police said.
Officers responded around 3:52 a.m. to a reported fight in the 100 block of East Clayton Street. Police say the group was dispersed but later reassembled near Lumpkin Street, where multiple gunshots rang out.
All three teens were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Detectives are continuing to investigate.
