A routine traffic stop in the Gumlog/Lavonia area led to the arrest of three individuals on drug-related charges late last week, according to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.

During the stop on Friday,  Feb. 14, deputies approached a vehicle driven by Andrew Tester, 38, of Canon. Tester was allegedly unable to provide a driver’s license before deputies learned he was on probation, according to authorities.

After gaining consent, police search Tester’s vehicle and allegedly located methamphetamine.

Passengers Robert Crocker, 17, and Taylor Dodds, 21, both of Hartwell, were then removed from the vehicle before officers proceeded to search the car.

All three individuals were arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.

All three suspects were transported to the Franklin County Jail without incident.
