A Rabun County man has been charged in connection with a wreck that injured three people Tuesday in Cornelia.
Cornelia Police Chief Chad Smith says officers issued citations to Red James Edward Gragg, 23, of Lakemont, for failing to yield and driving an unregistered vehicle.
Gragg was behind the wheel of a Pontiac G6, attempting to turn left into Habersham Hills Shopping Center from GA-385/US 441 Business when he pulled into the path of a northbound pickup truck.
Gragg and a passenger in his vehicle, 25-year-old Aria Maria Dresden, also of Lakemont, were injured. The driver of the pickup, 69-year-old Blue Miguel Zaragoza Fuentes of Clarkesville, was also hurt.
Habersham EMS transported all three to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville for treatment of their injuries.
