TFS varsity gets tune-up at Rabun Gap

In a non-counting scrimmage on Tuesday evening, the Lady Indians and Indians took the court at Rabun Gap as a final tune-up before the season opener on Friday.

The Lady Indians played much closer in the second half of their split game with Rabun Gap. The score was cleared at the half to start over in the second two-quarter span. The girls scored just 11 points in the first two quarters combined before going for 10 in the third and 12 in the final stanza.

Breelyn Wood dropped in a team-high 14 points, including a 3-pointer. Haygen James added six, Allie Phasavang five, and Millie Holcomb four in the contest. Adrijana Albijanic and Joanna Molodynska each had two points.

The Indians had a good outing from Neyo Bain, who led in scoring with 16 points. Hayden Bootle had double-digit rebounds as well.

The teams officially tip off the season Friday against Lanier Christian at home.
