A student art contest sparked creativity for the chance to be featured on the 2021 Twin Rivers Challenge T-shirt.
The Twin Rivers Challenge cycling event is a fundraiser for student scholarships and is set for October 23 at Tallulah Falls School.
Tallulah Falls School senior Sophie Herrera of Mt. Airy created the winning artwork, depicting the scenic beauty of Northeast Georgia.
“We are excited to once again feature student artwork on the ride T-shirt,” said Executive Director for Advancement Sonya Smith. “Showcasing our students’ talent is the perfect way to remind the community of the reason for the event.”
The Twin Rivers Challenge is now in its seventh year. Last year’s event drew more than 120 riders and raised $65,000.
Registration is still underway for this year’s ride. Three routes — 70 miles, 46 miles, or 33 miles — offer a challenge for all ability levels.
The cycling event begins and ends on the TFS campus. T-shirts are guaranteed with registrations received through October 15. To register, click here.
