For the first time, the new victory bell at the Tallulah Falls School tennis courts was rung by the middle school tennis teams. It came after both the girls and boys bested visiting Banks County on Thursday afternoon. The Lady Indians earned a 3-2 win, and the boys won in every line for a 5-0 victory.

“It was great to get two in the win column for the SML standings today at home,” says coach Anthony Cox. “Our girls team result today shows just how important doubles play is in the team format.”

The new bell at the courts got broken in right away.

“It was an honor for our teams to have the chance to ring the new victory bell for the first time ever,” exclaims Cox.

The Indians are now 4-1 (2-1 in league play) while the girls are 2-3 (1-2).
