TFS names middle school Students of the Month for October

Faculty members at the Tallulah Falls School middle school have selected their fifth, sixth and seventh-grade students of the month for October.

The fifth-grade student of the month is Avery Keim of Clarkesville. “Avery is a ray of sunshine in the fifth grade,” said fifth-grade math teacher Chrissy Van Hooser. “She constantly smiles and cares about her work and her peers. We are very proud of Avery.”

The sixth-grade student of the month is Kaylin Pickett of Demorest. “Kaylin earned this award for her exceptional academic work,” said sixth-grade math teacher Annette Shirley. “Kaylin is a responsible student who always leads by example, displays a tremendous work ethic and always demonstrates a positive attitude.”

The seventh-grader of the month for October is Jace Ibemere from Decatur. “Jace is an extremely conscientious student,” said seventh grade English teacher Kim McClurg. “She has a sweet spirit and often does kind acts for others without being asked. Her attitude radiates a positivity that helps light up every room she enters. Jace takes her academic tasks seriously and goes beyond the criteria expected of her. Her enthusiasm is perfect for her role as a TFS cheerleader.”
