Faculty members at Tallulah Falls School have selected four eighth grade Students of the Month for September. The chosen students exemplified character and leadership qualities consistent with the Tallulah 12 character initiative or have demonstrated academic excellence in the classroom.
Two eighth-graders received academic awards for September.
The first is Jaylan Garrison of Cornelia. According to her teachers, Jaylan diligently works while displaying responsibility for her learning. She also looks for opportunities to help others learn.
The second eighth-grade academic award went to Jenna Chesser of Cleveland. Teachers noted that Jenna aims for excellence while working hard to understand academic concepts.
Tallulah 12 character awards went to Xiaoyang Wu of China and Dani Prince of Demorest. According to eighth-grade teachers, Wu is thoughtful and dedicated to excellence in everything he does. Prince consistently shows kindness and respect for her teachers and peers.
