TFS names Christmas card winners

Tallulah Falls, GA – Each year Tallulah Falls School art students compete for the honor of having their original artwork featured on the cover of the annual TFS Christmas card. This year the school named two winners in the annual Christmas artwork contest, one for the middle school and one for the upper school.

Middle school art instructor Cat Schappach and upper school art instructor Tina Cheek supervised the development of this year’s submissions, which were judged by the faculty and staff of the school. The top three submissions were recognized at separate assemblies immediately preceding Thanksgiving break.

Eighth grader Sophia Kahwach of Atlanta was the first place winner for the middle school competition. Second place went to Robin Tamminga of Demorest, and the third place winner was Julia Raybon of Toccoa.

TFS senior Linden Pederson of Clarkesville was chosen as the first place winner. Ha Young Park of South Korea placed second. William Hong of China placed third in the annual TFS Christmas card contest.

In the high school division, senior Linden Pederson of Clarkesville was chosen as the first place winner, followed by Ha Young Park of South Korea, and William Hong of China.

All three winners in each division received a cash award for their efforts.

TFS Christmas cards featuring the artwork of Kahwach and Pederson have already been produced and mailed to nearly 4,000 members of the school family and community.
