The MS Indians posted a 2-2 final at White County on Monday night.
JT Head scored in the first half on an unassisted goal. After White County retaliated in the second half, Jeremy Hassell put TFS back in front with another unassisted goal.
The home team drew a foul in the box to merit a PK, and despite a great effort from GK Elijah Pinney, the ball found the back of the net.
“The team played very tough this evening in Cleveland against a solid, season White County side,” says coach Travis Mullis. “After a long winter break, it was like starting the season all over again for us. We’ll return to training tomorrow and work toward more chemistry in preparation for a match in Hiawassee on Thursday against Towns County.”
The boys are now 1-0-1 on the season.
