The Tallulah Falls School middle school tennis teams completed a clean sweep against on both the boys’ and girls’ sides on Monday, Sept. 17, at home against Rabun County.
On the girls’ side, eighth-grader Annabelle Jackson of Alto led the way in the No. 1 singles spot, winning 8-4.
Seventh-grader Lizzy Huebner of Clarkesville won her match 8-6, and seventh-grader Landry Carnes of Demorest took home an 8-3 victory. In doubles, seventh-grader Madeline Martin of Cornelia and eighth-grader Susie Sun of Clarkesville won 8-3, while seventh-grader Jordan St. Germaine of Demorest and sixth-grader Keira Webb of Clarkesville won their match 8-4.
For the boys, seventh-graders Tanner Davis of Cornelia and Everett VanOrman of Clarkesville each won their singles matches commandingly, 8-1.
In doubles, the pairing of eighth-grader Tyler Brown of Lithonia and seventh-grader Aiden VanOrman of Clarkesville won 8-2.
Seventh-grader Jake Owensby and eighth-grader Justin Graham of Clayton triumphed in their match, 8-1.
TFS will play their last home matches of the season tomorrow against Lumpkin County at 4 p.m.
