The Tallulah Falls School middle school baseball team played its best baseball of the season closing out the 2017 season with two consecutive victories over Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School.
The final win gave the Indians the Tri-State Conference title. TFS took the conference championship with a dominating 7-1 win.
According to coach Bobby Hammond, the winning pitcher was eighth grader Chathan Clouatre of Toccoa. Seventh grader Aubrey Higgins of Cornelia turned in a strong performance in relief with a seven pitch inning. Seventh grader Aiden Gragg of Clarkesville closed out the game by striking out the side in just 10 pitches.
