Fourteen Tallulah Falls School musical standouts were recently inducted into the Tri-M Music Honor Society. The Friday, November 21 induction ceremony was attended by the entire upper school student body. Tri-M is the international music honor society for middle and high school students. Tri-M is a program of the National Association for Music Education with over 5,500 chartered chapters.
The name “Tri-M” is in reference to “Modern Music Masters.” The organization is designed to recognize students for their academic and musical achievements and reward them for their accomplishments and service activities. Tri-M encourages appreciation and awareness of music and promotes wider opportunities for sharing joy through music.
2014 TFS inductees are (alphabetically): Betsy Bartholf, Josh Brown, Grace Chung, Ashley Kemp, Helen Lee, Jason Lin, Sylvia Liu, Danny Luo, Riko Miyazaki, Emma Peacock, Mio Sugawara, Stella Park, Josh Speed, and Tianqi Zhang.
