Tallulah Falls School Alumni Homecoming 2017 is set for April 22. Activities will be scheduled throughout the day on Saturday. All former students, staff and alumni are invited for a day of fun and reminiscing.
Honored classes this year are: 1947, 1957, 1967, 1977, 1987, 1997 and 2007.
“The TFS Alumni Committee has been hard at work on the plans for Homecoming and we look forward to celebrating our strong connection to the school,” said Irene Gray, alumni committee member.
The itinerary for the day features several traditional favorites along with a few new activities.
On Saturday at 9 a.m., the third annual “Fury at the Farm” race will challenge those who crave an adventure/obstacle experience.
From 10 a.m.-noon, Middle School campus, Upper School campus and Equestrian Center bus tours will take place, prior to gathering for the luncheon reunion. Alumni will meet at the Circle Building lobby to catch a shuttle. Stops at the new Student Activity Center on the campus of the middle school as well as the Larry A. Peevy Upper School Academic Complex will showcase campus enhancements.
As in the past, the museum will be open and TFS-themed gear will be offered for sale on Saturday from 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Alumni can purchase yearbooks, cookbooks and T-shirts at the museum.
A student art show will be on display in the Circle Building Lobby during the day.
The fee for the Homecoming luncheon is $15, and it will be be held from 1-3 p.m. in Federation Dining Hall with registration held in the Circle Building Lobby.
For any alumni in the area on Friday, April 21, free admission is available to alumni and one guest for the TFS Indians home baseball game versus Providence Christian Academy. The ticket will be included with a mailed invitation. The game starts at 5 p.m.
