TFS cross country teams win Tri-State sportsmanship award

Tallulah Falls School middle school boys and girls cross country teams each received the Tri State Middle School Conference Sportsmanship Award for the 2015 season. “We enjoy the relationships with our Tri State peers and sincerely appreciate being honored by them for demonstrated sportsmanship,” said Coach Scott Neal. “Our intention is to be active and genuine in our interscholastic interactions.”

“Our desire is to serve others before self while competing at the highest possible level,” Neal continued. “Hosting themed meets like Cookies ‘n Quotes, genuinely displaying gratitude to other school hosts and treating others with respect is critical to the cross country program.”

Now in its sixth year, the Tri-State Middle School Conference seeks to provide positive athletic experiences for the middle school students of Tallulah Falls School, Rabun Gap-Nacoochee, Summit Charter, Highlands, and Tamassee-Salem.
