Both the boys and girls cross country teams came in fourth in Thursday’s region championship meet on the home course. The finish secured a state bid for both the Indians and Lady Indians. FULL RESULTS
Timothy Beck paced the boys, coming in ninth overall, while Ellesen Eubank was the top runner for the TFS girls, placing 11th. The Lady Indians saw all their runners come inside the top 20. The girls were just one point off third place, and four points off the lead. Barrow Arts & Sciences Academy won the girls’ region title, while Athens Christian claimed the boys’ side.
