TFS coaches name Indians of the Month for March

Tallulah Falls School coaches have named four Indians of the Month for March.

MIDDLE SCHOOL BOY

Eighth grader Chathan Clouatre of Toccoa was selected as a TFS Indian of the Month for March. “Chathan is an athlete in the purest sense,” said Bobby Hammond, middle school baseball coach. “He is focused and gives 100 percent every minute of every game and in practice. He practices just like he plays and is a natural leader that leads by example and supports his team mates.”

MIDDLE SCHOOL GIRL

Eighth grader Maggie Jackson of Clarkesville was named an Indian of the Month by middle school golf coach Cyndy Campbell. “Maggie was consistently the low-medalist for the middle school golf team this season,” Campbell said. “Every match we have played, someone has commented on Maggie’s gift for golf. I am so very proud of Maggie and look forward to her playing at the high school level.”

VARSITY BOY

Senior Mark Faingold of Russia was named an Indian of the Week by varsity tennis coach Randy Morris. “Mark has demonstrated great senior leadership down the final stretch of his tennis career at TFS,” Morris said. “He was victorious in a marathon match against the No. 1 singles player for Commerce ensuring a team victory for TFS.”

VARSITY GIRL

Junior Perry Gresham of Clarkesville was selected as an Indian of the Week by varsity track and field coach Scott Neal. “Perry broke her 1600 meter school record multiple times in March and is near the 800 meter school record,” Neal said. “She is currently ranked No. 5 (1600m) in Region 8A.  She also runs the 4×4 relay, which is ranked No. 3 in the region.  Perry’s improvement this year has been instrumental in our team’s success.”
